We had our first meeting of this year's Dorothy's Book Club. A dozen 4th - 6th graders came to talk about Awkward. Special thanks to Henry for organizing the Mr. Raccoon Game (a search for a character hidden throughout the graphic novel). Students also created quick comics to make a connection to the art club in Awkward creating comics for the school newspaper.

It was a great night with an enthusiastic bunch of readers.
The next Dorothy's Club will be on Oct. 27th from 5 to 6 pm.
Students in 4th through 6th grade will need to have read either Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer or Escape from Baxters' Barn.
